A BUSY MONTH WITH, WELL, YOU KNOW….CHRISTMAS, BIRTHDAYS AND LIFE IN GENERAL.

You may have observed that I have been somewhat absent from my blog as of late. As the title of this article reveals, there is a lot going on this month and my writing was hindered…. Of course, all for good reason. I have not posted a Friday’s Thirteen article for a few weeks, and my pick for December went up quite late. All that being said, I have accomplished a few things in the wine world, including posting my “Winery of the Year” on the Seattle P.I. I will re-post it here at the beginning of 2015.

As a result of this selection for winery of the year, I’m mentioned in a couple of articles, The Columbia Basin Herald, and the Wenatchee World Wine Makers Journal, which is really cool. Nice to know that folks are paying attention to what I put out there.

I am feverishly working on my top forty wines under twenty bucks list for 2014. I will have it up on this blog next weekend. I am excited about the great wines I have discovered this year and all of them from #40 to #1 are worth seeking out to try. I work very hard at trying to make sure the wines I list are not sold out and unavailable. I can’t say I will be 100% successful, but I will sure as hell try.

My goal for 2015 is to put out consistent content that will help all of you learn more about the wine world, and to find excellent values in wine. As “The Blue Collar Wine Guy”, I am committed to taking the snob out of wine and help as many as possible to feel comfortable with their palate. If you haven’t checked them out yet, I have 150 episodes on Youtube, where I review wines and share useful information about the wine world.

I want to take a moment and thank all of you for your support in 2014, and I look forward to sharing more in the year to come.

Cheers!

About Stan The Wine Man

I am a blue collar wine guy who has been in the biz for over twenty years. I work at a store in a tourist destination stop. I work hard at finding the best wine for the money. I love the challenge of learning my customer's palate so I can find the best wine for them, whether it is Petrus or white zinfandel. Cheers!
